Awards

Oral presentation and poster presentation competitions will be held for graduate students who are participating in the Wilson College of Textiles Research Symposium 2025. 

Award #1: Poster Presentation Competition 

Poster topics will be related to any facet of the Wilson College of Textiles, including textile and apparel design, technology, and management; textile engineering, chemistry, and science; nonwovens, etc.

Judging Information

Judges will ask each poster presenter questions about their work. Scores will be recorded, and winners will be presented after all the sessions are over.

Prizes

• 1st Place: $300
• 2nd Place: $200
• 3rd Place: $100

Award #2: Oral Presentation Competition

Students are tasked with condensing their research into an explanation of the purpose and importance of their research while also proposing solutions or meaningful findings. 

Judging information

Judges will be given rubrics based on which the presenters will be evaluated and then recognized for their work during the award ceremony after all the sessions are over.

• 2nd Place: $300
• 3rd Place: $150
